This was my first time trying Cambodian food. Everything we ordered was good, but I noticed that most of the dishes tasted sweet. The papaya salad, noodles, and prahok kite all had a sweeter flavor. Is this how Cambodian dishes are usually prepared, or did the restaurant adjust the flavors to cater to American tastes? The restaurant is clean, and the staff are friendly. Overall, we had a good experience.

We just had Father's Day dinner there. What a memory. The food was exceptional. We had five dishes including sweet and sour fish, lemon grass soup, and fried tofu. Wow. The flavors. My wife and kids said, "we don't want to eat anywhere else."

The menu features a variety of classic Cambodian dishes built around rice, grilled meats, soups, and flavorful sauces. Another thing that stood out to me was the way Cambodian cooking balances flavors. Finally made it. The steak with anchovies aka "sach goh anchovies" was worth the wait & trip. Great play of flavors. Big serving. Very attentive young server fellow. Very nice decor. Hope they hit it out of the ballpark with the to-go lemongrass fish & nom banchok, too... Update 3 hrs later, if I'd give grades: A for steak w/anchovies--so good! B- for lemongrass fish, not fresh lemongrass & my tongue felt weird C for nom banchok--too diluted, salty, "like it wants to be nom banchok" says daughters. Maybe better to dine in?

We drove all the way from Laguna Hills to Little Cambodia in Long Beach which took about an hour to try this restaurant. It didn't disappoint! The food was delicious and such an explosion on your tastebuds! For me personally, Cambodian food is like Thai food on steroid. I highly recommend the lemongrass soup and the beef steak on skewers.
